This promises to be an interesting experiment. I used to pride myself on being an early adopter, but I'm late to the Blog scene. By early adopter, I mean that my first computer programming experience began in 1966 with a Burroughs B5500 computer and ALGOL. Then we moved our club and took up programming in FORTRAN on and IBM 1130 with 8K (yes, 8K) of RAM and a 1 meg hard drive. It was the size of a desk.

Since then I've gone to Medical school at Duke, gotten an MD and a PhD in microbiology, and done a residency in Pathology. I also have three wonderful daughters and a terrific wife. If you're interested, keep in touch as I learn what on earth a BLOG is and what can be done with it.
