A new pope is elected

A new pope has been elected, Cardinal Ratzinger of Germany has become Pope Benedict. As a Protestant I don't really understand why they change names but it's not an important issue. He is a conservative Christian, which will annoy a lot of people. How dare the Catholic church not listen to the 6-8% of its members who are in the United States?

Here is a sermon he gave recently. Quite frankly, I am pleased. Secular extremism has gotten us nowhere in a hurry. I look forward to hearing more from this man.
