A Baptist scientist on Global Warming

This one came across an Email discussion list I attend. He is a climate scientist in Alabama. He has several fears in regards to the Global Warming debate. First, he fears for science; science should be about measurements, not egos, or grants, or fame. Second, he fears for the poor. Cutting carbon-based energy now will harm the world's poor far more than the wealthy. Third, he fears for our faith, saying that the Global Warming acolytes are taking on the appearance of a new religion seeking converts, and that we Christians risk losing our principles. Interesting reading.
